Pepe Martí started the 2023 season participating in the first race of the FRMEC in Dubai in the Pinnacle Var Motorsport single-seater.

The young driver did a total of three races in two days to gain experience in what will be his third year in the single-seater world.

"We were able to go from strength to strength and score points. I had very good starts in all three races, but especially in the last one, where I started eleventh. I was able to make good overtakes and thanks to that I finished sixth. It's not where I wanted to be, but we got a good learning experience".

Pepe Marti has started the 2023 season by participating in the first race of the FRMEC in Dubai in one of the single-seaters of the Pinnacle Var Motorsport team, as he did last year.

The promising young driver was able to complete a total of three races in two days, in order to gain experience for what will be his third season in the single-seater world.

The A14 Management driver was among the first in all the free sessions of the weekend, but a problem in the performance of the car prevented him from obtaining good results in the "qualys", thus compromising the possibility of obtaining better results in the races. In spite of this and with his ability to overcome complicated situations, Pepe made good comebacks. In the first race, he started in 18th position and finished 14th, in the second he started 14th and crossed the finish line 9th and the third and last of the weekend, was the best comeback starting 11th to reach the sixth place.

"We were able to go from strength to strength and score points. I had very good starts in all three races, but especially in the last one, where I started eleventh. I was able to make good overtakes and thanks to that I finished sixth. It's not where I wanted to be, but we got a good learning experience", commented the same driver after the day's race.

"After being in front in the test sessions and considering that you never show all the cards in those practice sessions, I think we were very competitive, but for some reason it didn't show in qualifying and the races. The first race was very hard fought and complicated at the same time, but we managed to go ahead having little pace."

"On Saturday, in the second race of the weekend, we were a little better and with the four worn tires, we were able to overtake, climb positions and go from less to more until we scored points."

"It's time to keep working, understand where we need to improve and learn to be stronger for the next race," he concludes.
